Whew, we’ve been busy. Laying out The Darkest Age: Mörk BORG Edition was a bigger undertaking than I initially believed. But it’s done. I have to say, professional designers are worth their weight in gold – first because they have skillz and understanding, and second because that’s time I could spend writing something else.

The Game is DONE

Runeworks Games has undergone some changes since we started this project. I will keep writing and publishing games under the Runeworks Games umbrella. There are a few fun things in the hopper. First, we’re in the process of rewriting and updating the Darkest Age Game Master’s Companion. The Darkest Age: Mörk BORG Edition CoverPreviously only published as a PDF, this version will also be available in print. Those who have already purchased the PDF can simply download an update. Additionally, a PDF adventure called “The Last Dawn,” which will include some wild character classes (anyone know what a Gongfarmer is?) and serve as the beginning for any Darkest Age campaign. These are all being worked on as I write this. No definite dates yet. As you no doubt could guess, art and layout take longer (for us) than the actual writing. Both of these projects are at 70% and 45% complete, respectively.

But, The Darkest Age: Mörk BORG Edition is complete, we are simply waiting for the print proof. We’re planning a helluva release party with swag and prizes. If you are in Madison, WI, stay tuned for details.

It’s been more than 40 days since our last blog update. That’s because managing the blog, all the social feeds, and creating content for them is a full-time position that I’ve taken on. So, I get to it when I can.

Staying up to date with Runeworks

As mentioned, the Runeworks Games social feeds are updated when we can – but in a pinch, you can check out my substack: http://ericstaggs.substack.com. I post fiction and gaming updates there. I apologize for not being able to keep up with all the socials!

Following the other writers of The Darkest Age is an option, but those fellows don’t really do social media, so you’re kind of stuck with me.
